Six Months of Door Knocks, Guard Dogs, and Legal Wins..

Believe it or not, we are quickly coming upon our first six months of operations running this process serving business here in the Edmonton area. If you had told me half a year ago that I’d become an expert at navigating icy suburban driveways while dodging overly enthusiastic Golden Retrievers, I might have questioned my life choices.

But here we are, and honestly? I wouldn’t trade it.

The Reality of the "Knock"

Most people hear "process server" and think of those high-speed chase scenes in movies where someone shouts, "You’ve been served!" and jumps over a hedge. In reality, it’s a lot more human than that.

The last six months have been a steep learning curve. Here are some of the unexpected lessons learned along the way:

• GPS is a liar: It will occasionally insist a legal address is located in the middle of the North Saskatchewan River.

Why This Actually Matters

It’s easy to look at legal documents as just "paperwork," but I’ve realized they are often the keys to someone’s peace of mind.
